Fall Shadowbox Meetup "Desire"
I have been doing quarterly get together's for some time now at Shadowbox. We usually have 25-50 folks joining us. Come out and meet some new people. Matt has negotiated $10.00 tickets for a fall get together. You need to contact Shadowbox directly to purchase your tickets. Call them at (614)[masked] or go online at www.shadowboxlive.org. Use CODE "MEETUP" to get your discounted tickets. Matt will be in the bar to meet you starting at 5pm. Look for the balloon. You can get food and drink in both the bar and in the venue. As customary we can start to get seated when half of our group is there. If you want to be seated with our group and your friends please try to be there by 6:45. The show starts at 7:30 food service cuts off 15 minutes prior to the show starting. Often Shadow Box shows sell out quickly. There is no limit to how many friends you bring. Please check in with both The Shadow Box Office and with MATT so we both can check you in. Please don't RSVP Meetup until after you have purchased your tickets from Shadowbox. There are several Meetup groups invited to this event. The day of the event Matt can be reached via text at (614)[masked]. HERE IS WHAT THE SHOW IS ABOUT: In an unexpected, late night encounter on a college campus, two English professors match wits in a discussion about literature’s greatest lovers, from Romeo + Juliet to Gomez + Morticia Addams. As their conversation analyzes the mechanics of love, walls crumble and a connection blossoms. But will fiction become fact for these two academics? Jimmy Mak’s intimate script weaves through Katy Psenicka’s kinetic translation of our favorite stories of love, lust, devotion, and passion, with music from artists like Seal, Muse, Sade, Coldplay, and Nine Inch Nails. Desire celebrates the joy, pain, and power of love.

What we're about

The Columbus Ski Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1958. Originally organized for ski enthusiasts, the Club has grown beyond that single mission, providing its members not only quality ski programs, but year 'round social and sport activities. Today, the Columbus Ski Club is one of the largest in the country with over 1,100 members including a wide variety of ages, occupations, and interests. This diverse mix offers each member plenty of opportunities to meet new people and share new experiences. The Club offers downhill and cross-country activities for skiers at all levels of ability. Not a skier? You can participate in many non-ski activities such as bus trips to sporting events, league sports (we have our own billiards, bowling, golf, softball, and tennis leagues), wine tastings, cruises, and a number of parties throughout the year. The Columbus Ski Club has something for everyone.

CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group (Meetup member). Membership is required in order to participate in most Club activities (CSC member). However, anyone (21 and over) is welcome at our meeting gatherings which consist of checking out/signing up for current activities and socializing. Food and drinks are available for purchase at our meeting location.

See our website for additional information and to apply for annual CSC membership, dues are only $35.00 per year: http://www.columbusskiclub.org
