We would all like to be better at something professionally or personally, but where to start? For our presenter Travis, the go-to tool is asking questions and listening closely to the answers. He would like to be better a designer, leader, father, and overall person and has found that the easiest way to learn is through inquiries and conversations that follow.

In this presentation, Travis will take us on a journey through his career (and a bit of his life), sharing some of the most notable questions he’s had along the way.

With topics ranging from talking to strangers, interviewing, career choices, and trying to get a four year old to understand you, this talk will be a fun retrospective of his life so far.

Whether you’re just starting out or have been at it for a while, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Be sure to bring lots of questions, as this talk will include added time for Q&A. What would make more sense after a talk about questioning? 🤓

ABOUT TRAVIS MCCLEERY
Travis has a curious mind that craves to know the whats & whys of how things around him work. As a designer, this has led him to far away lands (Evernote, Netflix) and back again (CCO @ Root Insurance (https://www.joinroot.com/)) to create beautiful, problem solving products.

As a human, it crafts his relationships by encouraging his peers to push the boundaries and his family to have a love of exploration and imagination.
