We’re kicking off the day floating down the cool, clear waters of the Mad River, then heading straight to Shadybowl Speedway for what may be our last cookout, bonfire, camping, and party night like this.Don’t be the person who hears aboutit later and says, “I should’ve gone.”
## 🌊 Part 1: Mad River Float
We’ll be canoeing, kayaking, or tubing down the Mad River with Birch Bark Canoe Livery in Urbana, Ohio.
The Mad River is a great beginner-friendly river. Most of it is only about 2–3 feet deep, with some small pools around 5 feet. The water is usually clear enough to see the river bottom during the trip.
I personally plan to do the 2-hour tube trip.## Reservation Info
