Pride Multifaith Celebration

Children's Home of Northern Kentucky

This interfaith event is hosted by several different organizations for Pride month. Our own Jen Scott will be among the many organizational leaders speaking. This will be the first time an atheist/humanist has been invited to speak. This is also the first time this event will be held as a collaboration of Cincinnati Pride, Northern Kentucky Pride, and Lawrenceburg Pride. SCHEDULE 6:30-7:00pm Snacks & beverage provided by Jeff Thomas Catering 7:00-8:30pm Multi-Faith Service NOTE This is an interfaith event. There will be prayers and many religious attendees. Our participation in this is part of our interfaith work and is key to normalizing humanism, skepticism, and atheism. For some attendees, it may be the first time they actively engage with someone who is non-religious. We want that to be a good experience for them and for our members. Do not attend this event if you are not comfortable in an interfaith setting. Do not attend this event if you like to debate about religion. This is not the setting or the place for that. Reasons to attend: - Show support for the religious organizations who are open and affirming for the LGBTQ community. - Invite your religious friends to an event you can agree on - Help us with our interfaith work - Beautiful view of the cities - Snacks?
