One last reminder before Wednesday: the legendarily hep Margot Bloomstein will be in town from Boston to talk to us. RSVP for Waking Up in Seattle
if you haven't already -- last I looked there were only two spots left. (She's already sold out Portland. PORTLAND. Get on the stick, Seattleites.)
If the list is full, RSVP anyway -- you get on the waiting list, and it'll automatically update as people change their RSVPs. (And if you're not able to come after all, update your RSVP so everyone who wants to can get in.)
We will *not* be livestreaming this event, though we will record it and post it online at some point.
Beer and socializing 7:00, Margot's presentation at 7:30, post-preso conversation at 8:30, and we'll see what happens after that.
One more thing: Starting in November, we're switching nights to the third Wednesday of the month, rather than the second. I've heard many people say they'd like to go to both the UX/IA meetup on the second Tuesday and the content strategy meetup, and having them two nights in a row makes that challenging. (I'm one of those people -- I never make it to the UX/IA meetup, much to my chagrin.)
So our next meetup will be Nov. 17, with Gina Hills from the UW doing a case study of their redesign. More details to come.
Thanks! See you Wednesday.
