The practice of yoga brings tremendous personal health benefits. Those who practice it will improve their physical strength as well as attain mental clarity. 

Please view the class calendar to find a class that suits your needs. These classes are taught utilizing Vinyasa yoga's style. Vinyasa yoga is derived from Hatha yoga , though the practice is different. Vinyasa yoga's rhythm of linking breath with movement in a continuous flow, builds heat in the body, and has a greater effect on the cardiovascular system.  Hatha yoga is a slower paced form that is gentle. Unifying the body and mind in preparation for meditation. The flow of postures, whether fast or slow can create  strength, better stamina, flexibility, mobility, and agility for the individual.

 The pranayama (breathing techniques) condition the breath to produce a calm and focused mind.  Overall a yoga practice will bring students to their healthiest self. While learning to honor their own unique pace, needs, and goals.

Both forms of yoga work towards the same goal, fitness of the body and the mind.


If you would like to practice yoga but have difficulty moving up and down from the floor, please try one of the Chair Yoga classes. Chair Yoga classes are for those who are unable to take part in a routine yoga class setting.This form of yoga is energizing, yet restoring. Practitioners build strength, and alignment, form balance, and mobility, and detox the system. Postures are modified to accommodate those with physical ailments, and focus on individual’s needs. In this class, we will work from chairs, the wall, or use props.
