We're hosting this meetup at WeWork's Golden Gate Theatre. If you take the Powell Street BART, head south on Market street, then turn right on Golden Gate Ave/Taylor Street. Continue to follow Taylor St. The location is on the left.

In this meetup we will share several teams building on the Cosmos ecosystem and give an explainer about the Cosmos SDK, so the community can learn more about what we do!


1. Mark Miller - Is a pioneer in agoric computing and smart contracts. He was an architect of the Xanadu hypertext publishing system, a former Goolge research scientist, and is a member of the WebAssembly (WASM) group.

2. Shiyu Zhang - Is Head of blockchain at Lino Network, which provides a protocol to fairly align content creators. Lino currently powers DLive, which is a live streaming platform and has popular YouTube users such as PewDiePie. Shiyu helped to pioneer Lino's "Proof of Human Engagement" algorithm, which was released and recognized by the IEEE. This algorithm functions as a decentralized version of the Google reCAPTCHA system.

3. Jack Zampolin - Is a Product Manager at Cosmos/Tendermint. He helped to launch the Cosmos Hub and is leading us towards a future of many blockchains. Previously Jack worked at Blockstack and Influxdata.
