This project won a bronze medal at the Come join our weekly team meeting for the 2015 iGEM synthetic biology competition (! No prior experience required. Last year, we won a Gold Medal and the prize for Best Community Labs Project with our Real Vegan Cheese ( project. This year, we are building an E.coli that produces its own sunscreen, and then use directed evolution to improve on our original design.
