Come join us as we experiment with different recipes for making soy and cashew based vegan cheeses!
Depending on how many participants show up, and how ambitious we feel, we will be doing at least 2 or 3 different recipes, including a soy-based meltable cheddar, and some cashew based recipes by fellow vegan cheese afficionado Cashewbert (https://cashewbert.com).
After the cooking portion of the workshop, we'll pull out some yummy baguettes and taste some of results of our labor (we'll make sure to have at least one recipe that can be eaten right away).

Welcome to our new, weekly class series! Each Saturday, a member of CCL will host an hour-and-a-half long class on the topic of their choosing. Classes are open to other CCL members and the general public. A minimal fee to cover supplies and prep time may be requested, however no one will be turned away for lack of funds! Please RSVP ahead of time so teachers can plan accordingly.
