What we're about

This group creates opportunities for you to experience deeper connections in life - either within yourself, with others, the world around us, or the divine cosmos itself. Whether you feel it through your mind, your body or your inner being, there can be an awakening and/or transformation that, in the end, leads to greater wholeness, purpose and a sense of belonging.

Utilizing effective models and practices such as Conversation Cafés, TED Talk Discussions, Weekend Retreats, Workshops and Seminars, Sacred Listening Circles, Book Clubs, Food & Nutrition Classes, Holistic Mind-Body Practices, Mindfulness and Meditation, Pay-it-Forward Campaigns, Krafting Kindness Activities, Care & Compassion Programs, Adult Colouring Therapy, Zentangling and Journalling , and many others, a more compelling picture begins to emerge of how everything is interconnected.

Online event

"When you can't go outside, go inside" and find a little distraction from the uncertainty of current world issues with this on-line art class featuring guided watercolour techniques. Bring your curiosity to a meaningful activity that includes a mixture of stimulation, reflection, thought provocation, peaceful calm, relaxation and mindfulness.

An Evening of Nurturing Spirit - Peace in Ourselves @ 6:00 PM EDT (ON, CAN)

This week "Peace in Ourselves, Peace In the World", a Plum Village Mini Retreat and Tour with Vickie MacArthur. A time to slow down and breathe.

Join Vickie MacArthur as she invites you to experience what it’s like to attend a meditation retreat with Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh at his monastery in southern France.

After experiencing a spiritual awakening with this gentle Buddhist monk in 2011, Vickie has attended many meditation retreats across North America and at his practice centre, Plum Village in France.

Vickie will show pictures from Plum Village and read passages from her upcoming book “Love Letters To My Teacher: How A Buddhist Monk Ignited the Love In My Heart.

VICKIE'S BIO
Vickie is a lifetime pilgrim on the spiritual path of everyday life, rooted in her Christian, Buddhist and yogic communities, walking an inter-spiritual path that honors the depth of all traditions. Her writing and teaching integrate embodied awareness, breath, and spirituality to help bring a sense of healing and wholeness to all aspects of life.

Vickie teaches the “art of slowing down and listening deeply” to ourselves, to each other, to our planet, and to the Great Mystery that holds us all. Living into her spiritual name, Divine Oneness of the Heart, Vickie is working to build bridges between traditions, and creating new kinds of spiritual communities, beyond the confines of religion.

With an inter-spiritual heart that sees beyond the surface, Vickie invites others into that intimate space of communion with the wisdom and knowledge at the heart of all the great spiritual traditions, and beyond.
