Cryonics discussion and training

An opportunity to take part in one of Cryonics UK's training events where you will be able to discuss cryonics, ask questions, and learn cryopreservation procedures with a hands-on approach. Light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) will be provided.

This event is free of charge and is part of a series of 2 meetups taking place across the weekend. Please see the group page for the other event listings. Anyone with an interest in cryonics or life extension is welcome to attend any or all of the individual events and it is fine to show up part-way through a training session, leave before the end, and/or only show up for the dinner.

Saturday's event will be followed by dinner in the evening subject to sufficient interest.

(1) Saturday 4th September 2021 (11am - 5pm): training session.
(2) Sunday 5th September 2021 (10am - 4pm): training session.
(The topics covered may differ between each of the training sessions).

Location: The event will take place in the Scout Hut which is a separate building to the side of Greenhill Methodist Church, School Lane, Sheffield, S8 7RL.

Arriving by car: Plenty of free parking is available on the street. Please DO NOT PARK in the venue's car park as that is reserved for other users.

Arriving by public transport: the venue is located 15-20 minutes drive from Sheffield station. Uber is available in Sheffield and the journey is estimated to cost around £8. Alternatively, from Sheffield station, walk 10 minutes to Arundel Gate (stop AG10) and take the number 25 bus for 25 stops (around 32 minutes) to Greenhill Parkway/Greenhill Main Road and then walk 5 minutes to the venue.
