This group is for anyone who wants to get to the heart of a culture through an exploration of its cuisine. Through official Meetups we can discover different cultures through small group culinary events, field trips, culinary theaters, and discussions. We also organize small culinary tours to foreign destinations and will have plenty of opportunities to travel and eat!

Eat Smart Culinary Tour and Safari to South Africa w/ Botswana Extension

Update - Only 2 spots remain! We are happy to announce our Culinary, Cultural, and Safari Tour to South Africa in November 2020. It will be an awesome tour, which will explore not only South African cuisine and wine, but also include some time in the Timbavati and Umbabat Private Nature Reserves. These reserves form part of the Associated Private Nature Reserves region, which borders on Kruger National Park. They share fence-free borders with Kruger National Park, which allows animal species to move freely between these expansive parks. Guests can therefore look forward to exceptional game viewing moments. We will also visit Boulders Penguin Colony in Simon’s Town, home to a unique and endangered land-based colony of African Penguins. This colony is one of only a few in the world, and the site has become famous and a popular international tourist destination. Some folks who often travel with us and want to come on this tour inquired about the possibility of going to Botswana after the tour to South Africa finishes, so we prepared this itinerary for them and for anyone else going to South Africa who want this extension as well. We’ll see the major tourist sights in and around Warsaw, Krakow, and Zakopane. And, we’ll still have time to shop and relax along the way. Because we are living in unprecedented times, we are handling the deposits a little different this year.
