This group is for anyone who wants to get to the heart of a culture through an exploration of its cuisine. Through official Meetups we can discover different cultures through small group culinary events, field trips, culinary theaters, and discussions. We also organize small culinary tours to foreign destinations and will have plenty of opportunities to travel and eat!

Join us in getting to the heart of Moroccan culture through an exploration of its tantalizing cuisine. We will discover the secrets of Moroccan dishes by watching renowned chefs prepare classic creations such as stew-like tagines; hearty, well-spiced soups; salads of raw or cooked vegetables in flavorful olive oil dressings; savory and sweet pastry delights; and signature dishes such as bestila, which is made with almost translucent pastry sheets, and the classic Berber couscous.
Also included will be talks on culinary topics and visits to bustling markets to learn about the herbs, spices, and condiments that are prevalent in Moroccan cookery. We will also see the major tourist sights, yet still have time to shop and relax along the way.

The minimum number of participants is 6; the maximum number of participants is 12.

Our premiere tour will take you to the best restaurants and hidden gems that Scotland has to offer. From fabulous cuisine to whisky and chocolate tasting, this package will delight all your senses. Sample the infinite variety of regional specialties in their natural setting. Delve into the secrets of local dishes by participating in cooking classes. Prices are in GBP, and will be converted to USD on the day of deposit and on the day of final payment.
Payment: A non-refundable* deposit of 25% will be required upon booking. Once your deposit and Reservation Form has been received, you will be confirmed on the tour. *Your deposit is refundable until the tour fills and the deposits have been sent to our Scotland tour operator.
Final Payment: Due 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation and Refund: If a written or faxed notice of cancellation is received from passenger 90 days or more prior to departure, all advance payments, minus any expenses, including the non-refundable deposit, incurred by Eat Smart Culinary Travel or the Tour Operator, will be refunded. If cancellation is made 60 – 46 days before departure, the cancellation charge is 50% of the tour cost. Deposit:
A non-refundable***** deposit of $4,200 USD per person sharing a room, or $4,900 for single occupancy, is required upon booking.
Once your deposit has been received, you will receive a Reservation Packet to fill out and return.
*****Your deposit is refundable until you have been notified that the tour has filled and the deposits have been sent to our Africa tour operator, at which point the deposit is non-refundable.
Balance due 70 days prior to departure.
