An Evening of Classic Mystery / Comedy Films, plus a Great Dinner!

Details
Please join us on Tuesday, December 28th, at 6:00 PM for an evening of classic mystery films. Up first is a showing of the 1924 silent comedy film, SHERLOCK JR., which starred the incomparable Buster Keaton. Keaton plays a film projectionist who dreams of becoming a Sherlock Holmes-like sleuth. He falls asleep during the screening of a movie, and dreams he enters the film and becomes the main character -- a great detective. Not only is this one of the funniest of all silent films, but it features some truly mind-boggling special effects, as well. For those not familiar with Keaton’s work, he was the inspiration for the physical comedy and dangerous stunts performed by Jackie Chan!
Next up, at 7:00 PM is the 1946 British mystery film, GREEN FOR DANGER, which starred Alistair Sim, Trevor Howard, Sally Gray and Leo Genn. It concerns a mysterious death during a routine surgery in a WW2 era hospital. It is a combination whodunit, why-dunit, and how-dunit. Plus there is a heaping helping of both suspense, and the droll humor British productions of this era are so famous for. This film is considered by many critics to be one of the greatest mysteries ever produced!
On top of the great movies, you can fill up on a variety of yummy Chinese dishes, including; sushi, blue crab, and giant-sized shrimp, plus there is a Mongolian barbeque, and lots more.
The event is listed as being 3 hours, but of course, you don't have to attend both films.
There is a private room at the back of the restaurant, so we won't be disturbed by other diners. We will have short breaks throughout the evening, so attendees can restock their plates.
The restaurant is located at: 100 Live Oaks Blvd Casselberry, FL 32707….. near the intersection of 436 and 17-92.
In addition to the films and food, there will be other surprises, including trivia contests and free prizes. There is no charge for the movies, you just pay for your dinner. I hope you can make it!
