SOMD Tuesday Night Fly In

I want to thank Dan and Kyle for contacting the caretaker of this area, and allowing us to have a place to enjoy our hobby and friends.

There are just a couple of simple common sense rules we will follow:

We will be park along the road next to the fields. I just want to ask that no one overfly’ s the road. There is very little traffic there so that shouldn't be a worry. The road can be used for liftoffs and landings for sure, but we need to careful of any traffic, so folks need to be mindful it is a public road and we can be subject to peoples annoyances. The field of view at height is awesome. There is plenty for people to video or do aerial photography. But there are 4 houses on the property we will be near...and we want to make sure no one overfly’ s those house. There is tons of room to do whatever we want. The field might be over grown, 3-4 foot tall grass....so you could have a VERY tough time finding your aircraft…..lol

The area is only a mile by air from the Solomon’s Bridge site.
