Visiting Suzuki Farm and Terrapin Nature Park at Chesapeake Bay- 美味しい日本食の源を訪ねて

デラウェアとメリーランドの州境で農業を営む鈴木ファーム。みんなでカープールして、日本の野菜を買いに行こう！農場の見学をさせてもらえるよ。美味しい日本食を知るには、まずは良い食材を知らなきゃね。出発は8時過ぎで、1１時までにファームに到着します。帰り道でChesapeake Bayに面したTerrapin Nature Parkで簡単なハイキング・ウォーキングをします。2.8マイルの平坦で簡単なトレイルです。

メインは鈴木ファームで野菜のショッピング。しかし、鈴木ファームのご厚意で、農場が休みの週末に特別に開けて農場も見学させてもらいます。そこで以下のルールを設定したので守ってください。
-自己責任で安全に注意を払ってください。
-ファームのご迷惑になるような行為は厳禁。
-正しい動きやすい靴と服装できてください。長ズボン、汚れて良い靴。サンダル、ヒール、ショートパンツ、タンクトップはNG
-必ず野菜などを購入すること。（＄２０以上）
-120 miles以上のカープールをするので、ガス代をシェアしてくださいね。
-ハイキング・ウォーキングに参加するなら、十分なお水と日焼け止めも忘れずに。
Suzuki Farm is located state border of Delaware and Maryland on East Peninsula. Let's visit there with carpool, and get some fresh Japanese veggies. They allow us to visit farm area. To understand delicious Japanese foods, we got to know good ingredients first. We leave at 8 Am at carpool location. We will arrive at Suzuki Farm before 11 AM. When we are way back home, we will stop by Terrapin Natural Park at Chesapeake Bay. We will enjoy 2.8 mile easy flat trail which may take around 1 hour.

Main of the event is look and buy veggies at Suzuki Farm. Thanks of Suzuki Farm, they open the farm area and allow us to visit there which is usually closed on Saturday. Then, I made some rules.
-Please, be aware of safety around you at the farm. It is your own responsibility.
-Prohibit unruly incident
-Wear proper shoes and outfit for outdoor activities. Trousers, shoes for walking which is ok to get mud. Sandal, platform shoes, sleeveless shirts, buggy pants are NG.
-Have to buy some veggies or something at the farm.（$20 or more）
-It is carpooling with over 100 miles distances. Please, share gas expense with your driver.
-If you join walking/hiking, don't forget enough water and sun screen.
Carpools or Metro pickup:
Don't hesitate to ask for a carpool. If you need a ride, send a message. We will find some driver who I know. If you can offer carpool or find carpool members, message me with your area and available seats.
