We are a low-key friendly after work Japanese language exchange Meetup. The word (Kaiwa) means conversation in Japanese. Our participants are Japanese native speakers and Japanese learners with different proficiency levels. In this Meetup, you will enjoy practicing your Japanese, sharing stories with your peers, and making new friends! Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced feel free to join us! よろしくね ^-^

Where: Arlington Central Library, Wilson Room max 12 people
Who: People who want to speak in Japanese or listen to Japanese conversation
-- Both native speakers and language learners are welcome!
-- Feel free to chat about Japanese culture, food, anime, etc.Access by DC Metro:Metrostation is nearby, Ballston-MU and Virginia Square-GMU
Access by car: Library has parking space. Parkmobile spaces available around the library*We can go to Japanese restaurant or something after library room is closed.
PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:
-- If you are new, feel free to introduce yourself to Jun.
-- Please speak in Japanese as much as possible. That being said, people seeking listening practice are also welcome!
-- Try not to dominate conversations when someone else is trying to contribute. If it helps, strike up or join a conversation with different people.
