Dungeons and Dragons at Lodestone Coffee Minnetonka, MN

We have two spots left. We welcome any player 16 yrs. or older with any experience level.

In this campaign, you can play as a Vampire, Mage, Fae or Werewolf. Premade characters are available and players are happy to help you learn the mechanics. This is a game of political horror, relationships and a chance to take the reins of power that only The World of Darkness can provide.

Session 0. Players wanted to create characters together at the table so come with ideas but not characters. Feel free to discuss things here as well.

We'll be doing both the Hardcover and the 20 DDAL modules and weaving the two stories together. This is homebrew (even though we're running some DDAL modules. Details to follow on character creation rules.

• What we'll do
Homebrew D&D, where the players have control of the path they will take.

• What to bring
Please create a new, 17th-level, 5th-edition D&D character from the 2014 Player's Handbook (PH) or Xanathar's Guide to Everything. We'll be using only these two books, for character creation. Ability scores (stats) are created using the standard array on page 13 of the PH: 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15. Minor adjustments are allowed, using the points cost chart, on the same page.
You may give your new character one +1 magic item (such as a +1 longsword or +1 chain mail), along with standard adventuring gear. We do not use starting gold but include a background from the book and the gold from that.
Also, give your character two extra skill proficiencies (if your class allows expertise, you can use these to gain expertise in skills you already have proficiency in) and 8 additional languages (learned during adventuring), added to what the two books give your character.
Suggested: Pen or pencil (unless using an electronic character sheet) and dice. If you have a miniature for your character, bring it along.

FYI: This table tends to have from 8 to 14 or more players each week. So, seating is fairly tight. Even so, we hope all players enjoy their evening, and we welcome all who wish to play.

RSVP FOR CURRENT PLAYERS ONLY - This is a 5e homebrew rogue-like campaign called "Thrice Damned". Please bring an ninth level character and dice. If you choose to create a spellcasting character, be aware that your healing spells will not work in this world (unless you are a cleric). You have been warned. I am available to teach basics to new players starting one hour before the session begins.
