What we’re about
❤️🩹 New Beginnings Relationship Support (SF Peninsula) is a caring community for anyone going through a breakup or divorce—or simply looking to grow, heal, and build stronger relationships. Whether you're navigating grief, working through a major life transition, or wanting to show up more fully in your relationships, you’re welcome here.
🔷 We host weekly support meetings on Zoom every Wednesday evening from 7–9 pm (Pacific time). The first hour includes a video or short talk focused on personal growth, emotional healing, better communication, or understanding and managing the divorce process. The second hour is a confidential sharing circle, where participants are invited to have their cameras on to help create a safe, supportive environment. Meetings are no cost to participants, but donations via Venmo (@Amy-Papazian) are appreciated to help cover the time and care invested in preparing meaningful practical content. There's no charge to join the Meetup group itself.
🔷 We also host weekly one-hour walks (rain or shine) for Divorced Dads in San Mateo, CA. These walks offer a relaxed, low-pressure way to connect with others who understand what you're going through, while getting a bit of fresh air, movement, and enjoying a beautiful view of Crystal Springs Reservoir. There is no charge for our weekly walks.
❤️ We’d love for you to join us! Please make sure to turn ON Meetup notifications so you can stay updated on all our gatherings and events. We require a profile photo with your face visible for the safety of all.

•Online❉ Dating Again PART 2: Choose Well, Connect Well, Stay True to Yourself 🎯
OnlineIf you’re starting to date again after a major breakup or long-term relationship, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by trial and error. Dating can be exciting, awkward, hopeful, weird, meaningful… sometimes all in the same week. The good news? You can learn how to date in a way that feels clear, authentic, and true to you.
In this two-part support meeting series, we’ll explore how to:
- Know when you’re actually ready to date
- Recognize attraction vs. true compatibility
- Meet people in ways that feel natural and safe
- Set kind, confident boundaries on first meetings
- Notice green flags; don't just avoid red ones
- Practice “connection skills” that improve friendships, too
Each session includes practical tools, reflection, and optional sharing time in a supportive environment for those who are rebuilding their lives with intention.
Part 1 (Wed, Nov 26) : Clarity, Readiness, & Safe First Encounters
Part 2 (Wed, Dec 17) : Discerning, Connecting & Staying True to Yourself
🌟 Dating isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about gradually revealing who you are and choosing people who value that.
✨ All are welcome — regardless of relationship status, timeline, or background. Come for the insights, stay for the connection. ❤️
Our Meeting Agenda:
• Introductions
• Video or Speaker (30-45 minutes)
• Group Discussion
• Bio Break
• Confidential Sharing* (45 minutes)
*We ask attendees to have their cameras on for confidential sharing time.
