What we’re about

I am your organizer, Dilek Caner. My background in wine involves working as a sommeliere at several restaurants in New York City, working at Wine & Spirits Magazine and running a wine school in New York for 5 years before moving to Dallas. I am in the Master of Wine program where we go through a series of tests including a few blind tastings and I am starting this group to find enthusiastic people to taste wine with. You don't have to be a master, just willing to learn and very very interested in wine. Our events will be education based and until June 1st, we'll focus only on blind tastings. After June, we'll be doing themed tastings by grape variety and region, BYOB wine dinners and collectors' wine events. In all of those events, learning about wine will be at the center.
