Details

We are excited to have two speakers joining us on the evening of the 22nd. The first is Mikio Braun (http://blog.mikiobraun.de/), who is visiting San Francisco from Germany. He will be talking about mining data streams using streamdrill (https://streamdrill.com/). The second speaker is SriSatish Ambati, founder of 0xdata (http://0xdata.com/index.html), which makes H2O, an opensource prediction and math engine for big data. He will be giving a talk on scaling GLM, Random Forest, and other popular algorithms to use on big data such as the AllState Kaggle dataset. (http://www.kaggle.com/c/ClaimPredictionChallenge) Both talks should be very interesting!
