*PLEASE NOTE* The events on 4/16, 4/17, 4/23, and 4/24 are exactly the same. The same training content will be repeated 4 times, so make sure to sign up for the ONE date that works best for you!

Learn how to be awesome with C*, plus network with peers and Cassandra experts that will walk you to success step by step. No prior C* knowledge required. The workshops will cover Core Cassandra, Data Modeling and Application Development.

Space is limited, sign up early.
You need to bring a laptop as this is a hands-on workshop.

Workshop hours: 10 am - 4 pm with breaks. Lunch will be served.

What we will cover:
--Core Cassandra--
Want to know about Cassandra from the ground up? This friendly session assumes no prior knowledge and explains the fundamentals in terms we can all understand. Learn how Cassandra works and what kinds of problems you can solve with it by spinning up and exploring your own cluster.

--Hands-On Data Modeling with CQL--
Want to be successful with Cassandra? Your data model is the single biggest factor! Learn how Cassandra data modeling differs from traditional relational data modeling. Know how to create data models that scale effectively as your system grows. Create your own data model on your cluster using CQL.

--Application Development--
A lone database isn’t useful. Applications leveraging the data is where value kicks in. In this session, learn how to build applications using DataStax drivers to interface with your database. We also cover best practices to keep your code running smoothly by exploring our reference app KillrVideo.

Reminder - Don’t forget your laptop as this is a hands-on workshop.
