In the next few weeks we'll be learning/revisiting Applied Math and Machine Learning Basics. This week we'll discuss Chapter 2: Linear Algebra.
There will be a presentation of the chapter. After we will split up into small groups and solve some math problems.
8-8:30pm we'll have a Q&A with special guest Yaroslav Bulatov. Yaroslav is a research engineer at OpenAI, before that he worked at Google Brain and together with Ian was part of the Google Street View team responsible for Multi-digit Number recognition: https://research.google.com/pubs/YaroslavBulatov.html
He is a great resourse for all things computer vision and TensorFlow
Everyone should read the chapter beforehand and bring a personal copy to the meetup.
