Deer Spirit Healing, Awakening & Ascension Meetup

Greetings Dear Friends,

I began offering this event during the pandemic lockdown as a way for my Reiki students and colleagues to connect virtually, meditate, practice self treatment and share distant Reiki. It quickly became very popular and served as a replacement for my in-person Reiki circle which I had offered regularly since 2006 in New York City, I am now offering the in-person circle at Moxi Wellness on the 1st Saturday of every month, 5pm - 7:15pm, rsvp required.

In order to participate, rsvp via meetup or via the contact form on the contact page of my website. When I receive your rsvp I will send you the conference call numbers. The circle is open to the general public as well as all Reiki students. I will lead a meditation in which Reiki students are guided through self treatment protocols and distant Reiki for each other as well as distant healing for world peace.

Deer Spirit Reiki Circle was born on the Spring Equinox in 2006 and is regularly attended by many of my students and friends. Over the years, hundreds of people have been introduced to the wonderful healing power of Reiki at the circle and many have taken Reiki training with me. This will be held every Monday night and is open to the general public. You do not have to have taken a Reiki class to attend and receive Reiki. If you are attuned to Reiki, any level or lineage, you are welcome to join.

Reiki is a Japanese healing touch technique in which the practitioner channels healing energy through their hands which is subtle, gentle and warm. It heals by helping the recipient enter a deeply relaxed state in which harmony and balance is restored for all aspects - physical, mental emotional and spiritual. The Reiki healing techniques that we practice today originated with a Japanese man named Mikao Usui (1865 - 1926). Usui was a very spiritual man who wanted to achieve the highest state of enlightenment. He practiced Zen meditation for 3 years, then went to a sacred mountain in Japan to do a meditation and fasting retreat. On his 21st day of the retreat he achieved total enlightenment and gained the ability to heal with his hands. Reiki is now the most popular spiritual healing touch modality in the world.

I'll be teaching Reiki Level 1 on Sat. Dec. 13th on the Webex video conference platform 10am - 5:30pm EST with a 45 min lunch break. The fee for the class is $252 with a $90 deposit. If you elect to also take Reiki Level 2 with me (most students take both) on the following day, Sun., Dec. 14th, the discounted fee is $450 with a $120 deposit. Your ICRT Reiki manual ($25) will be shipped to you before class.

I've been teaching Reiki since 2006 in NYC and have initiated 100's of students from all over the world. I've also taught Reiki in Guatemala and Peru with Healer2Healer and Global Healthworks Foundation.

My own training in Reiki was profoundly life altering in the best of ways and launched me on a path that led out of a career as a cook and into a full time practice as a professional healer / teacher / counselor. I took Levels 1 & 2 with Louisiana Zinn and Level 3 / Master Teacher and Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher with the ICRT Center Certified teacher Carlos Gonzalez. They were both wonderful teachers. I teach the ICRT http://www.reiki.org/ curriculum with their manuals.

Usui achieved enlightenment on the 21st day of a fasting and meditation retreat on a sacred mountain in Japan. When he came down from the mountain he realized that he had the gift of the healing touch and he became well known in Japan as a great healer and teacher.

Reiki is a simple practice that can be easily learned by anyone. It promotes healing by inducing a deeply relaxed state in which balance and harmony are restored on all levels of being - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. For those who dedicate themselves to the practice of Reiki, it also becomes a spiritual path into the highest states of enlightenment.

When you take Level 1 Reiki, you will learn the history of the practice, the 5 principles of the philosophy, and how to give a treatment to yourself and others. Your ability to channel Reiki energy will be activated in a process called an attunement. The attunement takes about 2 and a half minutes and it clears subtle energy pathways in the student and opens up the energy centers in the palms so that Reiki can flow through them. The last portion of class will be spent practicing the Reiki healing techniques

When you receive the Level 2 attunements and teachings, your Reiki will get stronger and you'll learn the meaning and use of the 3 Reiki symbols. You will also learn how to send distant Reiki to people who are not in your immediate vicinity. The last portion of class will be spent practicing the Reiki healing techniques.
