Big Data at the Speed of Business with the Elastic Stack

You have solved your Big Data challenges with Hadoop. Modern business requirements are now pushing for near real-time search and faster data discovery and analytics. Good news! The Elastic Stack, formerly known as the ELK Stack, and the ES-Hadoop plugin have you covered. In this talk we will introduce the Elastic Stack and discuss use cases using the Elastic Stack in the Hadoop ecosystem as a speed layer.

George Kobar - George is an Elastician/Support Engineer at Elastic. He has worked in technology industry for the last 14 years in multiple capacities including support, consulting, architecture and technical marketing. He loves working on the edge of technology and incubating open source solutions to help organizations with their needs.

Matteo Rebeschini - Matteo is a Solutions Architect and Security Specialist at Elastic. He has over 18 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry covering multiple roles, spanning from software engineering and technical product management of software solutions for the defense and healthcare industries and more recently consulting and solutions architecture. Matteo has a passion for open source technologies and the Colorado open spaces.
