What we're about

We are a group of LGBT/LGBT friendly craft beer enthusiasts! Our goal is to encourage like-minded individuals to come out, make some new friends, and hoist a few pints of some tasty local craft beers. This meetup will focus on meeting at various local Denver craft breweries, but are open to meeting at various tap rooms for special events, such as tap takeovers, etc. All members of the LGBT community, and our straight allies, are welcome to come and hang out.

There is a supplemental Facebook Group at: www.Facebook.com/groups/DenverBeerQueers

Denver Beer Queers!
Come to Westminster for a wonderful time at Wonderland Brewing!

Wonderland has a huge space with ping pong tables, arcade games, and even a mini golf course. They also have a in-house food truck with large variety of brew pub fare. Most importantly, they have a new brewer who is a friend of some of the DBQ organizers who is looking forward to sharing his new creations with us.

Join us on Thursday, April 6th for a beer or three.

A-Basin Beach & Ski + Summit Co Breweries

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area

HI all PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION:

I'm looking to organize a small(ish?) group and host a Meetup at Arapahoe Basin ski area, on the infamous "Beach", for a day of skiing, riding, and some grilling and beers. Afterwards, for those interested, around 4pm we will then head to a local Summit County brewery (or two?) - most likely either Syndicate Brewing Co, or Angry James Brewing, both in Silverthorne.

You do NOT need to be a skier/rider to join. Hang with us in the parking lot OR just skip A Basin and meet us at the brewery.

This meetup will only be ONE DAY. Currently, I've marked both Saturday and Sunday, but I want to gauge interest and hold the event on the day most folks are able to join and maximize turnout.

IF you can make it up, I STRONGLY recommend staying the night in Dillon/Silverthorne especially if you are going to join us at the brewery.

April is getting into shoulder season (but NOT mud season) - traffic is not nearly as bad as it is during high season. Same for hotel room availability and rates.

But, don't let that fool in terms of ski conditions. Due to A Basin's high elevation (the base elevation is higher than the summits of many other popular mountains), quality skiing usually extends into May!

And anyone who has ever been on "the Beach" in the spring knows that it is quite a party atmosphere. If you've not been to the Beach, come and find out. Dogs are welcome and often folks are tossing frisbees to their furry friends, running around on the snow. Alcohol and grills ARE PERMITTED in the parking lot.

If you are interested, in addition to providing RSVP please comment or PM me with your date preferences.
