In “Securing Your Digital Health Company”, speakers will discuss the obstacles small companies and healthcare organizations face in managing security and regulatory compliance, while focusing on growing a business. They will also address best practices in managing cybersecurity and HIPAA compliance, in order to solve some of the biggest problems in healthcare.

Drew Labbo, CEO Rocky Mountain HIPAA Guru (http://www.rmhguru.com/): Owner and principal of RMHG, which offers healthcare focused information security consulting and risk and regulatory advisory services. Drew has over 19 years’ experience with information security and technology. His career experience in information security includes roles as InfoSec Systems Engineer, Auditor, Manager, Director, and Chief Information Security Officer. Drew is a member of the State of Colorado, Office of Information Technology - Information Security Advisory Board, and he is Vice President of the Denver Chapter of Information Systems Security Associate (ISSA). Drew has been a speaker at information security conferences and has been interviewed as a subject matter expert in healthcare technology journals and case studies.

Jacob Nemetz, CEO Dash Solutions (https://www.dashsdk.com/): Having built several digital health applications and led development of a patient engagement platform, Intraclinics, Jacob and has experienced the regulatory and compliance concerns that can be a burden to startups, developers, and innovators. As CEO of Dash, Jacob is working to remove HIPAA compliance barriers by providing a platform for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining compliance while leveraging the power of the public cloud. Dash is a portfolio company of SecureSet Accelerator, an Denver accelerator focused on challenges in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

Dan Lynn, CEO Raven Data Security (https://www.ravendata.io/): Dan Lynn, Co-Founder & CEO of Raven Data Security, is an entrepreneur, teacher and technical leader who has been building technology companies for 17 years. Dan speaks frequently at open source & big data events with about using technology to solve messy data wrangling, scalability challenges and database security topics and recently spoke at the United Nations. Previously, Dan was the Founder & CTO at FullContact, a contact management startup focusing on fuzzy match and record linkage problems. Dan is a Techstars alumnus and serves as an organizer for the Boulder/Denver Big Data Users Group.
