Serverless Architecture

Hosted By

Details
With the growth of third party cloud providers like AWS and Microsoft Azure, serverless architectures have been gaining in popularity. A serverless backend is used to describe applications that significantly or fully depend on these 3rd party providers to manage server-side logic and state.
In this meetup, we’ll go into detail about what a serverless architecture is and why they are becoming so popular. We will focus on a serverless setup using AWS services, such as the API Gateway and Lambda functions. We will finish by building a simple serverless application using AWS services to gain hands-on experience.
Bring your laptops and come hungry! We'll be serving beer, wine and pizza starting at 6:30.
