Denver Live Music Meetup welcomes you! We are run by local musicians and live music lovers, so join us if you are interested in checking out the live music scene in the Denver area! Check out some of the many talented musicians or national acts playing around town and meet other live music lovers ... all in one place!
We post info about all genres of music, and we host live music events at venues of all sizes around town. Have you been to great venues like Swallow Hill, Botanical Gardens, Hudson Gardens, Violet's Venue, Grizzly Rose, Hi-Dive, Paramount, Bluebird, Gothic, Tennyson's Tap, The Bernard Ballroom, Dazzle, Nocturne, Larimer Lounge, or the Walnut Room? Well, here's a group that tells you about live music at venues where you can actually see the performer! We host lot of affordable or 'no cover' events ... so join us today.

FLATOUT JAZZ TRIO breaks the mold for jazz trios with our unique blend of sax, guitar and drums! We create a cool modern sound, and our fun mix of music appeals to everyone. For this gig, we have curated a great set list featuring masters like Herbie, Miles, Monk and Mobley, ! We also mixed in a healthy dose of Wayne Shorter and Weather Report along with our familiar songs (Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Steely Dan)! Yes, all that from a trio with no bass and no keys. This jazz music is creative and different for sure! We're fun and entertaining, and we put on a great show, so head to Bar404 on a Wednesday for some midweek fun!
FLATOUT JAZZ TRIO is a favorite among musicians and music lovers around town. The guitar players love watching Lou Gott create a solid back beat and play cool improvisations all at the same time. The horn players love watching me, Casey Barnett as I brings passion and soul to every melody and improvised solo. Everyone else is locked in on drummer Josh Williamson as he lays down the perfect feel for every style. Each member of this band is a great musician, but the best part is how we blend together, creating a modern original sound that you don’t expect from a trio.
BAR 404 (https://bar404broadway.com/) is a Denver classic! Picture an 'old school neighborhood feel' with a great live music room next door. BAR 404 has been presenting local live music for years, so if you have never been there, come and check them out! They feature great food, great drinks and GREAT MUSIC, all for a $5 cover. ### The 2025 CPHC Party With a Purpose
The Colorado Parrot Head Club’s Party With a Purpose (PWAP) is back for another weekend of fantastic music and lots of Parrot Head fun!
The Party: Join us for two full days of live music featuring an amazing lineup! You won’t want to miss these incredible musical acts!- On Saturday, July 26, we’ll kick things off with El Wencho, Mark Mulligan and Rudy B, Mick Fury, and Michael Ault.
- On Sunday, July 27, join us for performances by Jonas Lorence Band, Thom and Coley, Steve Hopper, and Erica Sunshine Lee.
The Purpose: This is our biggest charity event of the year! During PWAP, we’ll host a silent auction and a raffle featuring some great items, with proceeds going to two wonderful charities: the Family Promise of Greater Denver and Chase Away Canine Cancer.
When: Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2025. Gates open at 2 pm daily.
Where: At CPHC President Pete’s Place on Sticky Pete’s Oysters and Half-Shell Shack, Main Stage. Pete’s address: 5461 Marshall St, Arvada, Colorado 80002
Admission: $100 per person, which includes admission for both days or you can buy a single day for $60.
Food & Drink: Please bring a side dish to share for our daily potlucks! The Colorado Parrot Head Club will provide the main dishes (“the meat”) daily.
What to Bring on Party Day: Bring your chair, easy-ups, and beverage cooler. Remember to bring sunscreen and dress in layers for the ever-changing Colorado weather.
Decoration Contest: We had so much fun with the decorating contest last year that we’re doing it again! Join the fun and decorate your easy-ups/seating areas. This year’s theme is to decorate your seating area like we’re tailgating at a Buffett Concert!
