Azure Cloud - Flexibility, Ease and Choice with DC/OS

Details

For many enterprise customers, Azure cloud is an important part of their multi-cloud solutions. The Open Source Mesosphere DC/OS engine project allows for great flexibility, ease, and choice when deploying and managing DC/OS clusters in Azure cloud.

Supporting both Linux and Windows agent pools in the same cluster makes it possible to deploy heterogeneous solutions, support multi-platform applications, allow legacy software to run alongside with the modern one, and much more.

Flexible and concise cluster definition allows user to specify multiple agent pools to be deployed, while each pool may have different characteristics of OS, compute power, storage, network, etc.

In this talk Dmitry Shmulevich, a member of Open Source Enterprise team at Microsoft makes an overview of Azure Resource Management, describes the details of Mesosphere DC/OS and demonstrates its features and capabilities.
