Scott Lowe will be in town and available to meet with the Denver Network Programmability User Group (NPUG) chapter on the topic of Network Programmability. Scott will talk about their new book, appropriately titled "Network Programmability and Automation". http://shop.oreilly.com/product/0636920042082.do He will also be available to answer questions from our group.
Scott is a 20+ year veteran of the IT industry who started his career working in desktop support. Along the way, he's worked as an instructor, a technical trainer and Microsoft Certified Trainer, systems administrator, IT manager, systems engineer, consultant, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a small start-up, and practice lead for a national VAR's VMware practice. Scott currently works as an engineering architect for VMware, Inc., focusing on network virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN). Scott has a number of published books and regularly speaks at events and conferences worldwide. He is also active on Twitter, and blogs as often as possible at http://blog.scottlowe.org, where he has been publishing technical content for over 10 years.
