Denver Vegans Fourth of July Picnic!

NOTE: This event will be held in place of our June potluck.
Denver Vegans will be celebrating the July 4th holiday with a picnic! This small park in the Highlands neighborhood features a picnic area shaded by large evergreens. (There is no grill, but feel free to bring a portable one if you would like to grill veggies, etc.) The park also has a playground for the kiddos and a public restroom.
For those who are new to veganism, welcome! Come get to know others in the group and sample some delicious vegan picnic fare!
What to Bring:
• Your favorite vegan picnic dish (All vegan please: no meat, bacon, eggs, poultry, fish, dairy or honey) that serves 8 with a recipe card or list of ingredients. If you do not know what to bring, please contact Denver Vegans leadership.
• Your own utensils and reusable place setting
We'll be starting a bit later than usual to beat the heat: gather at 6:30, eat at 7:00. The park is on a hill, so with any luck there may be fireworks displays visible after dark. We hope to see you there!
