Functional Fitness: Why It Matters and How to Do It
Ladies! We just had a goal setting session in January, and one of the areas we set goals in was around Health/Fitness. In that session, we talked about how to set goals and build a strategy to achieve them. To continue the conversation, we're thrilled to have bekn's resident physiologist, Casey Shivers, speak to our group about functional fitness, what it is, why you need it, and how it can help you achieve your health goals. She'll explain why certain people do better with yoga, while others do better with weightlifting. She'll share how you can use exercise to HEAL your body and bring balance/wellbeing to your life. And she will share how you can determine your best path forward.
