Building Android Libraries (At Xero) by Krishna Achanta

Details
This talk is going to be a walkthrough on how to build Libraries for Android apps.
This is not going to be about already well known libraries like Dagger, Retrofit etc. In fact we love them and use them in most of our apps and libraries at Xero. This is about building our own Android libraries that can be reused in multiple apps, how we integrate it into our build process and all the way to using the generated artifacts in client apps.
This will mostly be from our experiences at Xero. So you will see real world examples of the libraries we have build and how we have evolved from just having one app to having multiple apps using a suite of libraries. We will also explain how the architecture of some of these libraries have evolved to make them better and remain relevant even when the features and design of individual apps are different.
