Abstract:

Learn how Rachio, a Denver based IoT company specializing in smart WiFi irrigation controller and flow meter technology, rebuilt from the ground-up their cloud infrastructure from a single monolithic app to a robust micro service based architecture. The platform currently includes all the buzz-words like AWS, IoT/MQTT, gRPC, CI/CD, Terraform, and "containers". Also, learn why Franz kicked a hole in the wall.

Bio:

Franz Garsombke, CTO and Co-founder of Rachio, has been developing and architecting enterprise software solutions in Colorado for the entirety of his career.
