OK, so this will not exactly be a soulful house set, at least not entirely anyway. More likely, it will be a mixture of deep house and Detroit techno.
For those old or knowledgeable enough to know, Kevin Saunderson was one of the early house pioneers in the late 80's and one of the originators of the Detroit techno scene. Under the name Inner City, Saunderson's tracks such as Good Life and Big Fun had a huge impact on early house music. Since then, his production work has been extensive, dealing in the realms of house, deep house, and Detroit techno. His DJing ability puts him well into the upper tier of house and techno DJs.
On March 8th, he will be spinning at Club Vinyl along with his son, Dantiez Saunderson. It should be a night of good house and techno music.
