What we’re about
DevOps Finland is group for people who are interested in DevOps movement and everything around it. You don't need to be a DevOps expert, everyone who is interested can join. Let's meet to discuss about tools, practices, etc.
This meetup group is run by volunteers who work in various technology companies in Finland.
The group is not directly affiliated with any company. However, we have some costs that are covered by some sponsors.
Our account in meetup.com is sponsored by SOK (and previously by our founder, Erno Aapa)

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, enhancing developer productivity is crucial for delivering high-quality software that meets business objectives efficiently and sustainably. In this presentation we will share our approach to developer productivity; how we enable autonomous product teams to take ownership of their improvements using research and data, capabilities through tooling and by building an internal community. We will discuss practical examples of how we have helped teams improve their flow, the role of developer experience, and the impact of effective communication and team building.
Niko & Jacob work in the DevOps/Developer Experience team at SOK.
Structuring teams for fast value delivery - a tale of a SaaS company
Teams are central to software development, and most companies have more than one team. The way we structure teams directly relates to the flow of value delivery. This talk will show how Happeo restructured its teams, primarily inspired by team topologies, the main methods we used to divide existing teams in a new way, and the lessons learned from the journey so far.
Gaurav Bhorkar has more than a decade of experience in Engineering, Security, and Management. Loves to be in the intersection of people and technology. Believes that software engineering is greatly influenced by how the engineers interact with each other.
