• DevOps with Guardrails - Jeremy Snyder (@halffinn (https://twitter.com/halffinn)), DivvyCloud - The demands of modern business mean that developers need to move fast. "Deploy early, deploy quickly, deploy often" has become a mantra. Application development now includes software-defined infrastructure, whether in the form of cloud or containers. But how do you ensure that as you build and launch, and as configuration drift happens, you're not violating key organizational requirements for security and policy compliance? In this talk, we'll discuss a proven, successful approach to providing guard rails at the infrastructure and data storage layers. Organizations can implement policies at a global, business unit, or application level with technical controls. When issues are found, customers can leverage automation systems to react in near-real time with their preferred response, ranging from simple alerts to complex workflows.
• Hands on with InSpec - Nathen Harvey (@nathenharvey (http://twitter.com/nathenharvey)), Chef - InSpec (http://inspec.io/) is an open source testing framework for infrastructure with a human-readable language for specifying compliance, security, and other policy requirements. Easily integrate automated tests that check for advherence to policy into any stage of your deployment pipeline.
• 8:15 - 8:30 - Networking
