Howdy DevRel folks of the Bay Area! 👋

We are coming back in October with a great gathering of speakers and an important topic: How do you scale your DevRel team?

Scaling the team is a challenge faced by many companies of different sizes. From growing the team from a solo devrel to adding a whole new region, this is not an easy thing to do.

We assemble a panel of experts who are dealing with scaling at different levels and can share their wisdom.

Phil @leggetter is Director of Developer Relations at Nexmo, the Vonage API Platform.

With a not-so-distant past as a software engineer, he applies a passion and vision for quality software and great developer products within an international developer relations team of advocates, engineers, technical writers and community professionals who are core to the continued transformation underway to Vonage.

Heidi is a developer advocate with LaunchDarkly. She delights in working at the intersection of usability, risk reduction, and cutting-edge technology. One of her favorite hobbies is talking to developers about things they already knew but had never thought of that way before. She sews all her conference dresses so that she's sure there is a pocket for the mic.

Uttam heads Global Dev Ecosystem Programs at Google, leading the team working on programs that aims to make developers and startups successful as they build products and apps on using Google's Developer Products & Platforms. Prior to this he led Google's Launchpad program and Developer Relations for Google in SouthEast Asia.

Max Katz is a Program Director at IBM. Max leads the North America West Developer Advocacy team. The team provides developer education via meetups, workshops, conferences, online events, content and helps developers do their jobs faster and easier. Before IBM, Max led developer advocacy for Appery.io, a cloud-based mobile app platform. Max helped grow the platform from zero to over 400,000 developers.
