Lunch&&Learn: Developing Strategies for Mental Well-Being in the Tech Industry

Details

Join Devhub Toronto for their weekly series of Lunch&&Learns-- casual one-hour seminars with varying topics targeted at developers. Why not use your lunch break to learn something new?

Mental health is a topic not discussed much in the tech community. If you are a developer who struggles with a mental illness, it can be difficult to feel confident, motivated, and inspired. Touching upon true events that Jaymie experienced as a developer, she'll shine a light on her own experience to give others tips and advice on how to manage their well-being.

This Lunch&&Learn will be presented by Jaymie Rosen. Jaymie is a front-end developer, based in Toronto. Coding is a fun and challenging way to express her own creativity, as well as learn and acquire new skills. When she is not coding, she enjoys riding her bike, watching and critiquing Disney films, and making friends with as many dogs as possible.
