This workshop teaches kids python programming with fun interactive programs with the basketball team warriors. Python is a powerful language used by sites like YouTube You'll learn how to create variables , how to use the python console and write fun scoring games using if else and while conditional statements.

Requirements/Installation

• Each attendee must have a laptop with Wifi to access the internet (Windows or
Mac)
•Software:
Python (3.5.0 or lastest): h ttps://www.python.org/downloads/ (Download
Python and install Python f irst in your Windows or Mac laptop).
PyCharm IDE (latest version): h ttp://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/
(Download and install PyCharm C ommunity Edition ONLY this is free and good
for both the classes).

8-14

Instructors

Zachary Thomas Abraham & Zion Abraham
Zachary and Zion Abraham are High School student who got interested in
electronics and programming since there were 10. They has made multiple IOS
games and given various presentations at Dev0xx4Kids and SVCC.

Logistics

• Please click on Join and RSVP button on the top right to register for this meetup.

• Please make sure to bring a water bottle/snacks for the attendees.

• One registration will allow one kid to participate. Parents are required to stay at the facility for the entire duration of the workshop and may observe from back of the room.
