Details

Hello Digital Enthusiasts!

We are looking forward to the FINAL edition of DAWS for 2016! Stay tuned for more information!

If you have any job posts or other digital related news you'd like us to share with the audience let us know!

Networking kicks off @ 6:30pm although we will be there from 6pm so come earlier if you so please.

Our first presentation:

Topic 1: How production contributes innovation

Speaker 1: Josh Drasta @ Linkfluence (https://sg.linkedin.com/in/drasta)

While working in social media analytics companies I realised how important it is for a company to innovate. SM industry is constantly changing and companies which can't keep up become obsolete.

Over the time however, I came to understand how my colleagues from production are playing a major role in innovating the platform, but also maintaining it and conforming to clients' needs. I experienced that the reach of the production department people is sometimes overlooked despite them doing a great work and being basically a backbone of the company.

Also, I'd like to share how the production team of my current company, Linkfluence, comes up with new updates every 3 weeks and maintains this strict deadline.

Our second presentation:

Topic 2: Imagine if human behaviour was not random. Chaotic, complex but predictiable.

Speaker 2: Ian Champan-Banks @ Sqreem Technologies (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ianchapmanbanks)

So to understand human behaviour you would need a deep learning platform linked to a 10,000 severs on Amazon and the worlds behavioural biggest database to map out behavioural journeys and be able to predict the intent to purchase over a 100,000 brands, products and services in any country and any language.

We predicted Brexit and the Trump victory

Come see how we did it.

See you there!

Cheers,

DAWS!
