What we’re about
Hello & welcome to UK Photo Tours.
UKPT runs small-group photographic landscape, wildlife, and astrophotography workshops and photo tours, offering personalized tuition in some of the most stunning locations across the UK. (max 5 participants for multi-day trips)
Under UK Photo Tours, we run multi-day tours and workshops, traveling to England’s picturesque Lake District, photographing nightscapes in Norfolk, the rugged Jurassic Coast in Dorset, and Scotland’s incredible Isle of Skye and Glencoe for the breathtaking scenery.
Our wildlife workshops venture to some of the most spectacular wildlife locations in the UK, such as witnessing the birth of Atlantic Grey Seal Pups in Norfolk, charismatic Puffins on the Farne Islands, and the Norfolk Snettisham Spectacular, where over 100,000 wading birds take to the air.
We offer a variety of popular day trips during the year, including:
Stonehenge at sunset
Bodiam Castle
Vintage Airshows
Medieval Jousting
We've operated international tours and workshops since 2014, specializing in the UK but also extending to trips to Iceland and Australia.
UKPT is proud to be supported by Kase filters and clients are able to use a loan set each for the duration of their tour. We're the exclusive UK tour supplier to one of the largest and highest-rated tour companies in the world, Iceland Photo Tours, and we are listed on both VisitScotland and VisitBritain's tourism websites.
A list of our current tours, workshops, and photography vacations can be found here.
Private tours are available.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.

𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞!
Join us on our amazing photo tour (limited to just 5 participants) to seize the captivating beauty of Scotland's Highland landscapes!
Scotland's untamed wilderness has always stirred the adventurous spirit. It's a must-visit for photographers seeking breath-taking visuals that need to be witnessed in person to be genuinely valued. We'll traverse from the majestic formations of The Isle of Skye to the tranquil charm of Glencoe, uncovering both famed sites and hidden treasures in the splendid Scottish Highlands.
Our eight-day adventure begins in Inverness, with a stop at the picturesque Eileen Donan Castle on our way to the enchanting Isle of Skye. Here, we'll encounter remarkable geological formations such as The Quiraing and Old Man of Storr that offer a peek into a bygone geological era. Skye is rich with volcanic crags shaped over thousands of years into distinctive forms, presenting countless photo opportunities. We'll also visit famous locations such as the radiant Fairy Pools, the Fairy Glen, and the picturesque Neist Point Lighthouse. Few places offer such a diverse range of spectacular shots to enrich your portfolio or refine your photography skills.
After visiting the Glenfinnan Viaduct to watch the famous "Hogwarts Express" from Harry Potter slowly cross for an iconic shot, we head to Glencoe for three days, where we'll explore the famous valley with its lochs and waterfalls. We'll also travel to visit more stunning castles, such as Kilchurn Castle (aptly situated on Loch Awe) and Castle Stalker, which has been featured in multiple films.
