San Francisco DreamFactory REST API Meetup

Join us for an evening talking about DreamFactory and APIs in our San Francisco meetup on June 2nd!

We're joined by Ben Busse (https://twitter.com/benbusse) (DreamFactory's Head of Product) and Carly Robinson (https://twitter.com/carlyhasredhair) (software engineer at Slack) who will be our guest speakers.

Ben will give a brief technical overview of how DreamFactory approaches REST APIs for SQL, NoSQL, and file storage. He'll present common API recipes, including filter strings, relational joins, connecting databases with virtual foreign keys, sorting and pagination, server-side validation, and lightweight API orchestration.

Carly will be chatting about developing Slack's WebAPI. She will present a technical overview of HTTP RPC-style methods and Slack's RTM (Real Time Messaging) API, in addition to the basics around using Slack's API to build custom integrations, incoming and outgoing webhooks, slash commands, and bot users.
