What we’re about
Welcome gay/bi guys… PLEASE read all of this before joining in the fun!
Welcome to Dudes, Dining & Destinations… where gay, bi, and men-interested-in-men connect over good food, good conversation, and good times. We’re here to expand our circles, make friends, and enjoy the St. Louis area together.
Our main thing? Dining out! We pick restaurants to fit a variety of budgets so everyone feels welcome. But we don’t stop at the dinner table—we’re open to things like live theater, local festivals, bowling, mini golf… if it’s fun and social, it’s fair game. Got an idea? Bring it on!
We usually host two events a month, most centered on dining… but stay tuned for surprises.

A few important things to keep our group running smoothly:
🍽 RSVPs matter – Restaurants need a headcount so they can staff and prep food for us. Let’s try to prevent no-shows from happening. They’re completely avoidable—if you can’t make it, just switch to “not going” so the list stays accurate. You might think “Oh, one person won’t matter”… but if five guys think the same way, suddenly it does matter. It makes us look bad to the restaurant and can even prevent another member from attending. Let’s keep our reputation—and our welcome—strong.
📅 Cancel in advance – Please let us know before event day so we can update the restaurant in time.
📝 Waiting list? Don’t worry – You’ll be added automatically, and spots often open up as the date gets closer.
💵 Order something & tip well – We’re guests, and these events often mean extra work for servers. Let’s make sure we’re the group restaurants love to host.
👕 Dress appropriately – We go for “casual but nice.” Summer T-shirts can work, but overall, think comfortable and presentable.
🚫 Not a hookup scene – This isn’t about cruising or drinking till closing time. Our events are for connecting, laughing, and making friends—an alternative to the bar scene. If sparks fly, great! But it’s not the main goal.
🌈 Zero tolerance for hate – We’re proudly pro-diversity and anti-racist. Everyone should feel safe here.
🚭 No smoking at events – We keep it fresh, indoors or out.

See all- KTK Productions Presents Steel MagnoliasSt. John The Baptist, St. Louis, MO
We’re heading to KTK Productions in South St. Louis for their Sunday, October 19 at 2 PM performance of Steel Magnolias! Based on past shows, tickets should be around $25, but they’re not on sale just yet…I’ll let you know as soon as they are. This is a more community-based production than a big theater spectacle, but hey…it’s something to do, it should be fun, and it’s Steel Magnolias! (Gay men and Truvy’s lightning-fast gossip…what’s not to love?) After the show, we can grab a bite to eat (to be determined)…let’s see how many folks are interested. If you’ve been to a KTK Production before, share your experience in the comment thread for this event. I’ll keep everyone updated.
The play will be held in a gymnasium…definitely community theater, nothing fancy, but it should still be a lot of fun.
Their website is https://kurtainkall.org/ and I’ll let you know as soon as tickets become available.
