# PULL UP A CHAIR — START HERE
Whether you’re brand new or a familiar face, this is a quick guide to how we do things.
### BEFORE YOU JUMP IN… THIS IS THE GOOD STUFF
Welcome to Dudes, Dining & Destinations
A social dining group where GAY, BI, and MEN-INTERESTED-IN-MEN come together for:
GOOD FOOD
GOOD CONVERSATION
GOOD VIBES
We’re all about widening our circles, making real-life connections, and exploring the St. Louis area together — one meal at a time.

## OUR BREAD & BUTTER: DINING OUT
From cozy diners to splurge-worthy spots, we mix it up so everyone feels comfortable and included.
And every now and then, we shake things up with:
- Bowling nights
- Mini golf
- Theater outings
- Festivals and special events
Got an idea? Throw it out there — we love trying new things.
***
## EASY TO JOIN — AND YES, YOU CAN DO THE IN-PERSON PART
Joining the group is easy.
Showing up for your first event? Totally normal to feel a little nervous.
Here’s the truth: every single one of us took that same step.
Once you walk in, you’ll quickly see how warm, welcoming, and friendly this group really is.
You’ve got this — and we’ve got you.

## A FEW THINGS THAT KEEP THE MAGIC WORKING
RSVPs matter
Restaurants prepare based on our numbers.
Plans change? No problem
Just switch your RSVP to “not going.”
Cancel ahead of time if you can
It helps us update the restaurant before the event.
On the waitlist? Don’t panic
Spots often open up as the date gets closer.
Order something and tip well
Let’s stay the group restaurants love to host.
Dress vibe: casual but presentable
Relaxed, comfortable, and event-ready.
Not a hookup scene
We’re here for laughs, conversation, and community — not cruising.
If sparks fly, great — that’s just a bonus.
Zero hate. Zero racism. Zero nonsense
Everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome here.
No smoking at events
Let’s keep the atmosphere fresh for everyone.

Mad Dogs, Cool Cats & Hungry Dudes: A Sunday Lunch Adventure
Mad Dog and Cat's Restaurant and Bar, 1005 Wolfrum Road, Weldon Spring, MO, USOK you folks out west… YES, we finally have an event by YOU! 🐶🐱
For those of us in South City and the central corridor… yes, we’re heading toward St. Peters. And we’ve done it before! Some of our best Dudes Dining adventures have been a little Sunday road trip — and I promise, this one will be worth the drive.
Mad Dog & Cat’s is exactly the kind of neighborhood gem Dudes Dining & Destinations loves to discover. There aren’t many shortcuts here. Their chicken strips are made in-house, the crab dip is a standout, and their burgers are hand-formed fresh — not some frozen patty.
Soup lovers… listen up! Their French Onion Soup has that rich, savory, old-school flavor that reminds me of the Famous-Barr style, and they’re known for other great soups as well.
The menu goes far beyond comfort food. You’ll find standout pastas like Rigatoni All’Amatriciana and Cajun Chicken Pasta, along with Chicken Marsala, Chicken Artichoke, Jack Daniel’s Pork Chop, fresh seafood, and quality steaks.
Salad and sandwich fans won’t be left out either. From a fresh Strawberry Salad and loaded Italian Salad to a classic Reuben, New York Strip Steak Sandwich, Beef Brisket hoagie, and Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich — there’s truly something for everyone.
Looking for a hearty plate? Their dinner specials are a great value:
🥩 10 oz Sirloin
🐟 Fried Walleye
🍗 Chicken Lombardi
—all served with a side salad and dessert. And yes, their Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and rich country gravy is pure comfort on a plate!
Even the little details shine — like their signature anchovy-based house dressing packed with old-school flavor.
When we visited, we met the staff, and every single person was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there.
And save room for dessert! Bananas Foster and bread pudding are waiting to finish the meal.
Bottom line: come hungry. This is a place where the kitchen still believes in doing things the right way — made-from-scratch touches, generous portions, and hospitality that makes you feel like a regular.

St. Charles and West County folks — this one is for YOU. The rest of us? Grab your keys… we’re taking a little Sunday drive, and it’s going to be worth it! 🐶🐱24 attendees
Two Spirits, One Big Chief Adventure 🍸🛣️
Big Chief Roadhouse, 17352 Manchester Road, Wildwood, MO, US🛣️🌈 Big Chief Roadhouse — A Route 66 Adventure with a Secret Twist! 🌈🛣️
Join us as we head out to Historic Route 66 in Wildwood for a Saturday night destination filled with history, character, and great food. Established in 1928, Big Chief Roadhouse is one of Missouri’s iconic Route 66 landmarks, blending a rustic historic atmosphere with a fresh take on American comfort food.
The menu has something for everyone — from the famous Toasted Lasagna, a Big Chief signature, to the flavorful Stampede Burger, house-smoked specialties, smoked pork steak, fresh salads, sandwiches, stone-fired pizzas, and other hearty entrées. The prices are reasonable, the portions are satisfying, and the atmosphere is exactly what a Route 66 roadhouse should be.
We will be dining inside the historic roadhouse, enjoying the charm, conversation, and a relaxed Saturday evening together.
But our journey does not end when the dinner plates are cleared...
After our meal, we’ll make our way as a group into the hidden Speakeasy located right on the property for a cocktail, some conversation, and a little Prohibition-era charm.
After all, this is a two-spirited evening — two unique experiences under one historic roof: a legendary Route 66 roadhouse and a secret Speakeasy. 🌈🪶🍸
A historic roadhouse. Great food. A hidden Speakeasy. A little Route 66 nostalgia, a little mystery, and a lot of fun.
