What we’re about
EAA106 is the largest and one of the most active Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapters in New England (over 200 members in MA, NH, RI, CT, and beyond). ~1/3 of our members have built or are building their own aircraft, ~1/3 are pilots of production aircraft (including CFIs & ATPs), and many are student pilots, aviation veterans, mechanics, and aviation enthusiasts! We host monthly aviation presentations/seminars covering a wide array of topics, fly youth (ages 8-17) for free flight experiences as “Young Eagles”, award annual youth aviation scholarships, host the annual NorthEast Experimental Fly-In with ~ a dozen free seminars, host New England tour stops of EAA's B-17 and 1929 Ford Tri-Motor. Most events (not all) are at our two hangars at the rear of the Lawrence Municipal Airport (LWM), No. Andover, MA. EAA106 is an educational 501(c)(3) public charity based in Massachusetts.
