LIFE CHANGING DESPACHO ~ Release anything in 2023 that needs to GO!

We are hosting a “Despacho" ceremony on January 27th. This ceremony is going to focus on releasing from 2023 anything that didn't serve your highest purpose and bringing in 2024 with a fresh start. This is a beautiful sacred practice used in the shamanic community for many reasons. They are very powerful for bringing in new habits and releasing old ones. The beginning of the year is a perfect time to come together and build a Despacho.

When we work in ceremony such as the ayni despacho, we work at the level of the soul. A despacho is similar to a mandala or sacred creation as it holds symbolic elements and the prayers of the participants. As the shamans add the elements to the despacho, the vibration of the participants and the area raises. The despacho becomes a living prayer that brings energy shifts and healing. In the shamanic tradition, an ayni despacho is done with the intention to bring oneself and one’s community into right relationship with the natural world. It creates a sense of union, harmony and reciprocity with nature.

For the ayni despacho, the shaman begins with a large piece of white paper that will serve as a ‘wrapping’ for all the offerings. All ingredients have significance, and each receives prayer before being placed on the paper. Coca leaves or bay leaves are used to hold prayers. Sugar and various sweets bring sweetness and love to the prayers. Corn and other grains are used to nourish participants and the Pachamama (the Earth). All ingredients will be provided for you. Once all ingredients have been added, the shaman carefully folds the bundle into the shape of a square ‘gift’ and ties it. After a despacho is prepared, the shaman uses it to cleanse the energy body of each participant.

A practicing Shaman will walk you thru putting together this sacred work. This Despacho will help you set in place your intentions for your life. Using goals and resolutions you will be able to place them in the despacho so they can come to fruition. The despacho takes the form of a very beautiful offering bundle. A sequence of items is placed on a flat surface, each representing the dedication of some aspect of life, helping to bring back wholeness. The process itself is an opportunity to reflect for all who participate. As the ceremony progresses, all involved form “k’intus”, little groups of three leaves, and, with their own breath, place their prayers and offerings into these. They are then added to the ceremonial bundle. We will have everything you will need to create a group despacho. You can bring a note to the universe to add or anything burnable that you want to add to the despacho.

This is a free event that is always open to anyone. It is non-denominational and is a beautiful healing practice that allows us to move energy during the full moon for our highest good. All materials will be provided, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.

This February Moon is known as the Snow Moon, named because it is the time of year snow usually blankets the ground. This will be a beautiful and powerful way to bring in and release the things you wish as we move through Winter!

Come and celebrate new beginnings with the power of this Full Moon Fire Ceremony. Join us around the fire in celebrating through ceremony, help us to honor mother earth and explore this blossoming, fertile time of year. Let's open our hearts and minds for each other and for our love for the earth.

This unique experience invites you to express gratitude for the blessings in your life, not only for yourself but also for the well-being of our planet. Additionally, you have the opportunity to create offerings that symbolize your intentions for manifesting new beginnings.

You can also make offerings for manifesting newness into your life. Offerings for the fire are welcome, like rosemary sprigs, cinnamon sticks, dried lavender, dried flowers, tobacco, cacao, sage, or palo santo.

All that's needed is your open heart and a willingness to connect with spirit, nature, and the enchanting presence of our beloved Moon. This event is not only a chance to enjoy the moon's beauty but also an opportunity to join a wonderful community of like-minded individuals.
