East Bay Game Devs & Creatives is a friendly Meetup in Oakland and surrounding areas for industry professionals, independent game developers, hobbyists, artists, musicians, designers, and those interested in breaking into video game development. Our meetups are meant to facilitate discussions about the direction of the industry and serve as a platform for sharing projects and ideas.
Monthly in-person events are hosted monthly at The Museum of Art & Digital Entertainment (The MADE) in Oakland, and we partner with Bay Area Devs Collective for weekly online meetups via Discord.

Join The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment on the first Friday of each month for The MADE Showcase! Drop by to try out some indie games, see cool creations and meet other local devs and gamers. The next Event is on Sept 5th, 2025.
Visitors and Playtesters: Entry is $15 for the evening, and proceeds go toward supporting The MADE's mission of preserving playable history and inspiring the next generation of digital creators. If you need admission waived, not to worry: Just indicate this on your RSVP.
Showcase Exhibitors: We welcome both physical and digital creations/games. As long as you made it you can show it off and playtest it! All exhibitors are provided with a half of a 6' table. We can also provide monitors, full tables, open space for larger games, museum collection items for context, and really just about anything you can think of and we can try to deliver on.
