What we’re about
Established originally in 2017 with a brief COVID-induced hiatus, East Bay Seniors is back in action!
We're a group of friendly 60 "plus or minus" folks who love a variety of stuff, including games, coffee, restaurants, bowling, book clubs, crafts, concerts, and exploring anything the area has to offer.
Most of us join and attend alone, but you are also welcome to bring your friendly significant other, friend, or family member! This is all about making new connections, and getting yourself out there!
My name is Marcie, and I live in the East Bay so therefore center my hosted events around there, but we are happy to accommodate meetup members from further out if anyone wants to help me host. This is a no-judgment, all-fun zone to socialize, get together and enjoy what amazing things we live near!

This month, we're doing Mexican food!
"When my brother and I moved here, we had no idea that this would turn into the home of our “business.” New England does that to you, however. There’s something very familiar about it, I suppose that’s why we stayed. La Piñata was our dream. It’s crazy to think that we have 3 stores and food truck now. We grew up in the industry and knew that one day we too would have our own restaurant! We did it all, from dishwasher, to prep, to bartender.
We just wanted to do what we do best! In Mexico, nothing says I love you more than a home cooked meal. That’s what we are all about! We want people to come to our restaurant and get an experience, not just a meal. It’s about all of the emotions and that home away from home feeling . We hope you give us a chance to treat you like our grandmothers treated us and come back for more. We want to share our story so you can be family too."
