Join in the sketchy fun at Lake Merritt. The skyline views of Oakland and the hills are great. Or gaze at the sky and capture clouds. There's foliage along the lake walk, and people, families and birds. It's often breezy and it could be cold, so bring a hat and jacket and a clip for your papers. Umbrella if it seems wet, tho weather predictions show sun.

We'll meet at 11:00am and kick off with a group warm-up activity, then spread out and sketch some cool stuff.

At 2:30 pm we'll meet back at the starting point for group gallery and feedback.

Notes:
Transit: Carpooling recommended.
Lake Merritt BART station is a few blocks away.
The Oakland Museum of CA has paid parking garage.
- If you're interested in carpooling, post a message here and we'll coordinate rides to make parking easier.
Facilities: Not sure about bathrooms or coffee locations, but hopefully there will be nearby businesses open. :)
